Angelina Jolie has always been one of those celebrities who seems like they’ve got it all together—which is probably why her divorce from Brad Pitt in 2016 was such a shock to the world. Just recently, the star opened up to WSJ Magazine about what her life looks like now, and she explains that aside from spending time with her six children, who she shares with Pitt, she doesn’t “really have a social life.”
This seems quite the polar opposite from Brad Pitt, who has been dating jewelry designer Ines de Ramon for nearly a year now. A source told People that he “introduces [Ramon] as his girlfriend” and that she “makes him very happy.” Keep reading for more information.
Angelina Jolie Admits She Has No 'Social Life'
The 48-year-old spoke about a number of things in her interview with WSJ, especially her relationship with her kids. "They are the closest people to me and my life," she says, "and they're my close friends." Jolie shares Maddox, 22, Pax, 19, Zahara, 18, Shiloh, 17, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 15, with her ex-husband, and they are part of the reason why she is still centrally located in LA.
"It's part of what happened after my divorce," she said. "I lost the ability to live and travel freely. I will move when I can," she added. Jolie has mentioned before that she doesn't enjoy living in Hollywood, and calls it "shallow" and "not a healthy place."
Aside from her children, she says her closest friends are refugees. "Maybe for out of six of the women that I am close to are from war and conflict." After winning an Oscar in 2000, Jolie visited refugee camps in Cambodia, Tanzania, Sierra Leone, and Pakistan, which then prompted her to join the United Nations first as a Goodwill Ambassador from 2001-2012, and then as a Special Envoy from 2012-2022.
Brad Pitt Flaunts His Relationship With Ines de Ramon
Brad Pitt, 59, on the other hand, is happily dating Ines de Ramon, 33, for over a year now, and a source old People that Pitt "is doing great with Ines." Ramon has been Pitt's first "proper" relationship since divorcing Angelina Jolie, and they have been spotted numerous times since they were first linked in November of 2022.
"It's great to see him in a good place," the source continued. "Ines makes him very happy." The pair were actually spotted earlier this month in LA at the LACMA's Art+Film Gala. Though they didn't pose for photos together, they were spotted enjoying the event together, and a source described their interactions as "super loving."
They were "laughing and joking with everyone around them," the source continued, and "seemed to be having a good time."
