This has been a seriously rough couple of months for Angelina Jolie. Jolie recently poured her heart out to the people at Vanity Fair, and she's been through A LOT. She admitted that after production ended for her film, First They Killed My Father, things really began to get "difficult" between the two. The stress from their divorce got so difficult that she developed hypertension and Bell's palsy!
The saddest part is that not only is Jolie being deeply affected; her kids are still processing from the heavy situation, too. "We're all just healing from the events that led to the filing," she said. "They're not healing from the divorce. They're healing from some…from life, from things in life." So heartbreaking!
However, things are starting to look good for Jolie. She's taking care of her family and health, and she just recently bought a $25 million mansion in Los Angeles.
"I actually feel like more of a woman because I'm being smart about my choices, and I'm putting my family first, and I'm in charge of my life and my health," she said. "I think that's what makes a woman complete." Preach it, Angelina!
We're so happy that things are starting to turn around for her after the brutal few months she's had. We're rooting for you, Angelina!
