Angelina Jolie may still be involved in a bitter divorce with ex-husband Brad Pitt, but the 46-year-old actress and director has reportedly moved on after rumors began to swirl of a budding relationship with The Weeknd. Just two weeks ago the pair were spotted out to dinner together, sparking speculation that they may be dating despite departing the restaurant at different times. However, the rumors have continued to grow after both Jolie and The Weeknd were in attendance at a private Mustafa concert on Friday.
Photos taken by a fan showed that the pair did not attend the concert together, with The Weeknd seemingly there with a group of friends and Jolie with her daughters Shiloh and Zahara. However, rumors continue to swirl around the pair who have both been notably single since splits for their respective partners. Jolie has also recently been spotted with ex-husband Jonny Lee Miller on several occasions, inciting rumors of their rekindled romance as well.
The Weeknd was last known to have dated Bella Hadid, with whom he had an on-off relationship from 2015-2019. Hadid also recently entered into a new relationship, taking to Instagram to share PDA packed pictures with her new beau, art director Marc Kalman on Thursday. It’s always possible that Jolie and The Weeknd’s dinner was nothing more than a business meeting, as the 31-year-old singer is reportedly breaking into the acting field and may have been soliciting advice from a seasoned professional.
While neither Jolie nor The Weeknd have commented on the rumors, a source told Page Six last week, “They’re clearly not trying to hide [the dinner]. He’s definitely focused on getting to the movie business. He has the new HBO series he’s starring in." Regardless of if they’re dating or not, the pair certainly make for unlikely friends.
