Angelina Jolie Stuns In A Beige Dior Coat, Celine Boots And Minimal Accessories In Italy

Jolie's outfit was completed with black leather knee-high heeled boots from Celine, featuring a distinctive twisty strap with a golden buckle. The Lara Croft alum added accessories that were minimal yet classic, consisting only of black shades and shiny, dainty and small silver hoop earrings. Jolie's newly dyed blonde hair was worn down, parted slightly off-center, and styled in a sleek, straight manner.

Under the direction of Pablo Larraín, the highly anticipated film Maria features Jolie portraying the renowned late opera singer, Callas. This movie, part of the competitive selection at the Venice Film Festival, also boasts performances by Kodi Smit-McPhee, Pierfrancesco Favino, Alba Rohrwacher, and Haluk Bilginer.    

Regarding Pitt's upcoming venture, Wolfs, he and fellow co-star George Clooney take on the roles of solitary fixers brought together for the same mission in this action-thriller helmed by John Watts. Unlike Jolie's film, this one will be screened at the festival but not as part of the competition.

In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Barbera, the Venice Film Festival Artistic Director, confirmed that Pitt, 60, and Jolie would attend the event on different days due to their acrimonious divorce.

"Angelina will be on the first day, on Thursday, [August] 29, and she will leave right after with Pablo Larraín to go to Telluride [Film Festival]," Barbera shared. He went on to say: "Brad will arrive only on Saturday, to Venice."  

Based on the true story of Callas, Jolie's new film Maria will tell the "tumultuous, beautiful and tragic story of the life of the world's greatest opera singer, relived and reimagined during her final days in 1970s Paris," according to a press release. As noted by a recent report from Variety, Netflix has secured the U.S. distribution rights for the biopic directed by Larraín.
