While in Monte Carlo, the 28-year-old also met F1 superstar Lewis Hamilton, and the pair posed for pictures together at the event.

The Queen's Gambit icon revealed that Forrest Gump is one of her favorite movies, and it coincidentally connects to the place where McRae proposed to her. "Forrest Gump, I love that movie; I miss movies like that. Just huge, epic sagas where you just feel every emotion under the sun and there’s like this beautiful poetry underneath it. I love it,” she told her Furiosa co-star Chris Hemsworth.
"My husband accidentally proposed to me on the Forrest Gump bench in Savannah. Complete accident, and he’s a boy from Alabama. And I’m blonde. So just, just happened," she recalled while drawing parallels between Forrest Gump, who was born in Alabama, and his blonde childhood sweetheart, Jenny Curran.
