Anya Taylor-Joy continues to turn heads in New York City as she stylishly promotes her latest action movie, The Gorge. Last week, the Queen’s Gambit actress and style icon, 28, made a chic appearance in the East Village, donning an eye–catching shearling faux fur coat by Alexander McQueen from the brand’s Fall 2024 collection, designed by Seán McGirr in his first collection for the label.
With her long, sculpted legs exposed and no visible bottoms, Taylor-Joy completed her outfit with nude, pointed-toe heels. As for her glam, the Emma star wore her long, icy platinum blonde hair flowing freely, parted in the middle, with a small braid adorning one side of her face.

For her makeup look, the Witch alum sported glittery silver eyeshadow, voluminous lashes, rosy blush on her high cheekbones and a glossy pink pout. After paparazzi-snapped photos of Taylor-Joy were shared by Just Jared on Instagram, fans headed to the social media platform to share their thoughts on the Golden Globe winner's latest get-up.
"Her style is chef's kiss," one wrote as another added, "she is so chic!" Someone else commented, "she is so stylish," as one other noted that Taylor-Joy often takes "style risks that have paid off." An additional fan chimed in, writing, "kudos to her stylist."

For this outfit, Taylor-Joy was styled by Ryan Hastings. In a separate post for her own 11.7 million IG followers, Taylor-Joy tagged her glam team — composed of celebrity makeup artist Georgie Eisdell and hairstylist Gregory Russell. Taylor-Joy remains active in the promotion of The Gorge, a forthcoming sci-fi horror action movie helmed by Scott Derrickson and penned by Zach Dean.
The film also features Miles Teller and Sigourney Weaver and is slated for release on Apple TV+ on Valentine's Day this week. The storyline centers around two top-tier snipers tasked with a cryptic assignment: to protect opposite sides of a vast and impenetrable gorge, unaware of what truly lies below.
