Anya Taylor-Joy Turns Up The Heat In A Fiery Red Minidress And Sheer Tights
November 24, 2022 by Marissa Matozzo
Anya Taylor-Joy rocked a ruby-red, monochromatic outfit while promoting The Menu in New York City, inspiring us to swap our all-black looks for scarlet this holiday season!
The Golden Globe winner, 26, was photographed by paparazzi while showing off her curves in a plunging mini lace dress with a matching shiny red overcoat, sheer tights and classic glamorous pumps, all of the same crimson hue. The Emma star’s get-up is from Magda Butrym, and she donned this stunning look for a Good Morning America appearance.
For the event, Taylor-Joy wore her signature icy blonde tresses down, parted in the middle and styled straight. The Queen’s Gambit actress also added black liner, voluminous lashes, rosy blush on her high cheekbones, and a glossy pink lip to pull it all together. Her standout dress featured a low-cut neckline, floral lace detailing, a sultry thigh-skimming hemline, and an overall fit that helped emphasize her tiny waist and long, toned legs.
This fiery look is one of many eye-catching outfits that the style icon pulled off recently while celebrating her latest project, The Menu. The new film is described as a black comedy-horror film (and we know Taylor-Joy is no stranger to horror, having starred in hit films like The Witch and Split). The movie was directed by Mark Mylod (known for working on popular television series like Game of Thrones and Shameless.

Along with Taylor-Joy, The Menu stars Nicholas Hoult, Ralph Fiennes, Judith Light and John Leguizamo. The flick debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2022, and hit United States theaters on November 18th.
In The Menu, Taylor-Joy stars as Margot, a young woman who travels with her boyfriend (played by Hoult) to a remote island to eat at Hawthorne, an exclusive restaurant run by celebrity chef Julian Slowik (played by Fiennes). The plot centers around Slowik preparing a lavish molecular gastronomy menu for his guests, where the food is considered conceptual art. Slowik’s approach to cuisine, however, has some jaw-dropping surprises in store for the wealthy diners. (We’re intrigued!)
