January 6, 2023 by Marissa Matozzo
Anya Taylor-Joy was easily one of the best-dressed celebs of 2022, and as we approach the 2023 Golden Globes next week, we’re reminded of her epic and sultry look from the 2021 awards ceremony.
As she graced the red carpet, the Witch alum, 26, memorably showed off her toned and trim figure in a stunning deep green gown from Dior Haute Couture.
Her dress featured a deep, plunging neckline, skimpy, thin straps, a curve-hugging fit and an elegant cape that served as a train. Along with this, the Last Night in Soho star paired $1 million of glistening Tiffany & Co. diamonds and sky-high heels.

In 2021, Taylor-Joy was up for two notable personal nominations, including ‘Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy’ for the 2020 film Emma and ‘Best Actress in a Mini-Series or Motion Picture for TV’ for The Queen’s Gambit, which she ultimately won.
At the show, Taylor-Joy wore her signature long, platinum-blonde tresses down, and parted to the side to emulate Old Hollywood style. As for makeup, the Northman actress went for a shimmering smokey eye, light red lipstick hue, and rosy blush along her high cheekbones.
In an Instagram post for her 9.2 million followers, Taylor-Joy recently expressed her gratitude as she was nominated for the coveted ‘Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Comedy or Musical’ Golden Globe award for her performance in the 2022 horror flick, The Menu.
Taylor-Joy shared two stills from her acclaimed film, and wrote in her caption, “Thank you so much @goldenglobes for showing love to our weird, wonderful creature of a movie.” She continued, writing to her co-star, “all my love to our unbelievable cast and crew and a huge congratulations to the man himself, Mr Ralph Fiennes. It is an honour and a privilege to share a stage and life with you.”
In The Menu, Taylor-Joy stars as Margot, a young woman who travels with her boyfriend (played by Nicholas Hoult) to a remote island to eat at Hawthorne, an exclusive restaurant run by celebrity chef Julian Slowik (played by Ralph Fiennes).
The plot centers around Slowik preparing a lavish molecular gastronomy menu for his guests, where the food is considered conceptual art. Slowik’s approach to cuisine, however, has some jaw-dropping surprises in store for the wealthy diners.
As we await the 80th annual Golden Globes red carpet, we can’t wait to see what Taylor-Joy wears this year! The 2023 Golden Globes will air on NBC on Tuesday, January 10th, starting at 8 p.m. EST and 5 p.m. PT, and the show will also be available to stream on Peacock.
