A rumor has emerged that Apple is set to release the third-generation iPhone SE in the first quarter of next year, which means it could be in your hands as early as spring 2020. If you have been holding off on buying a new iPhone and just can’t fathom paying four-digit prices, this could prove the smartphone of your dreams. But what can you expect from this latest model? Here’s everything we know so far about the third-gen iPhone SE.
Face ID Will Likely Be A Feature
Good news for Face ID fans: the feature is likely to be incorporated into the newer iPhone SE design. And, according to those in the know, Apple is also planning on bringing this feature to iPads and Macs.
The Device Will Stay Small
If you’re a big fan of smaller phones, you’ll appreciate the iPhone SE’s compact 4-inch model. This makes the phone even smaller than last year’s second-generation iPhone SE — so it’s perfectly pocket-size. You can also expect throwback design features like a physical home button and bezels at the bottom and top. No word yet on whether Touch ID will be available.
If You Prefer A Larger Phone, an iPhone SE Plus Is Still a Possibility
So maybe you don’t count yourself as a fan of smaller iPhones. There is speculation that a larger iPhone SE will also make its debut in the first half of 2022.
