Ariana Grande participated in an interview with Vanity Fair last week where she underwent a lie detector test. During this revealing session, the Grammy winner, 31, cleared the air and discussed the cosmetic procedures she has undergone, as well as those she has not. Connected to a polygraph machine, the “Yes, And?” hitmaker responded to a variety of inquiries about her life while promoting her upcoming film, Wicked.

As the video drew to a close, Cynthia Erivo, who stars alongside Grande in the upcoming live-action musical film, made a nod to the its song “Popular.” Erivo, 37, then asked the “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait For Your Love)” artist if she had “work done” to make herself “feel more popular.”

Grande then asked the Harriet actress: "To my face? To physical appearance?" Erivo answered: "Yes, I'm going to ask all the questions." The "7 Rings" songstress playfully replied: "Thank goodness." When asked if she ever underwent a rhinoplasty procedure, Grande said she didn't. Regarding a "boob job" or breast augmentation, Grande also denied this and said: "Can you imagine?"

The "Thank U, Next" crooner then disclosed that she hadn't undergone a facelift, although she remained "open" to the possibility. Grande was thrilled when the polygraph technician concluded that she had been honest and "truthful" in her responses. Regarding online haters and trolls, Grande then noted: "This is the best day of my life. Take that, you YouTube people."

Erivo also notably asked whether Grande had undergone a fox eye lift, a cosmetic procedure that subtly elevates the outer corners of the eyes. The "Into You" musician replied: "No, but I discovered it through people who thought I did and I said, ‘Thank you.'"

Grande said she also never got a chin implant, but then shared more about some of the work she has had done. "I’ve had fillers in various places and Botox, but I stopped like four years ago, and that is the extent. But (I’m) also like in full support of all people who do these things, work, whatever makes women, men, non-gender conforming people feel beautiful should be allowed. Why do we care?" Grande went on.

This isn't the first occasion where the Victorious alum has tackled speculation about plastic surgery from fans and detractors.

During a heartfelt interview with Vogue last year, Grande became visibly emotional as she recounted how she once "disguised" certain aspects of her appearance with makeup and cosmetic enhancements.

She explained: "(I’ve) had a ton of lip filler over the years and Botox. I stopped in 2018 because I just felt so … too much." The Sam & Cat star continued: "I just felt like hiding, you know." Since deciding to forego Botox and fillers, Grande said she observed a significant increase in her self-confidence.

However, the "Positions" singer remains open to the possibility of undergoing cosmetic procedures in the future should she choose to do so. She said: "To each their own. Whatever makes you feel beautiful, I do support."
