Ariana Grande just gave fans another BTS look at the upcoming live-action Wicked film, as well as her chic on-set style! The Grammy winner, 29, uploaded a black-and-white photo of herself and co-star Cynthia Erivo to Instagram while donning elegant dresses.
Grande posed in a strapless, low-cut, polka-dot maxi for her 364 million followers while Erivo, 36, went for a gingham-print, long-sleeved mini dress. The “positions” singer’s number, as fans on Instagram pointed out, is by Vivienne Westwood, specifically the label’s ‘Pot Dot Label Midi Dress’ in red.

The “pov” hitmaker added white opera-length gloves to complete her look, as seen in her photo collection post, and she further accessorized her dress with Mikimoto ‘Morning Dew South Sea Pearl’ earrings.
To complete her glam get-up, Grande stepped out in white ‘Pointed-Toe 175mm Platform’ pumps by Andrea Wazen and sweetly held hands with Erivo in the photos she posted. As for her glam, the “7 rings” crooner slicked her long blonde tresses into her signature voluminous high ponytail and dazzled up her ensemble with black liner and lip gloss.

The r.e.m. Beauty mogul will star as Glinda the Good Witch in the highly anticipated John M. Chu-directed Wicked film. Oscar nominee Erivo will portray Elphaba in the musical, which is set for a December 25, 2024 release date. Grande captioned her IG carousel, “up to (no) good,” while garnering thousands of likes and comments from fans.

Fan Reactions To Grande’s Wicked On-Set Pics
While many fans left comments about Grande’s “beautiful,” “timelessly stunning” and “super cute” dress, others were just as excited to see more BTS shots of the forthcoming film. “Our Glinda & Elphaba,” one user wrote with apt pink and green heart emojis as another added, “beautiful ladies! counting down the days.” Someone else chimed in, “I literally can’t think of anything to say other than how much I just adore this duo,” as one other agreed, writing, “The cuuuuutest witches in all of Oz.”
Grande, as fans will know, has long loved the character of Glinda from watching stage productions of the modern classic Broadway musical, even tweeting in 2011, “Loved seeing Wicked again… amazing production! Made me realize again how badly I want 2 play Glinda at some point in my life! #DreamRole.”

Luckily for Grande, Chu announced in April 2022 that the big screen adaptation will have not one, but two films splitting the material, with the first premiering in December of 2024, and the second ideally arriving one year later, in December 2025. In a May 2022 Q&A video posted to her beauty YouTube channel, Grande opened up about choosing to play her dream role rather than to focus on a new album or upcoming music, telling her fans, “The truth is, I have not begun an album.” She added that instead, she “went into full preparation mode” to score the role of Glinda.
