Ariana Grande's friends are worried about her new relationship
As Ariana and Ethan continue dating, the "thank u next" singer’s friends have voiced their concerns over their budding relationship. A source told the National Enquirer, "Ariana falls hard and fast. That's who she is." But that doesn’t stop her friends from worrying.
"Everyone is telling her to slow down before she makes another mistake—but she is that girl who can never stay single for long," they added.
Ariana has left a trail of ex-boyfriends in her wake, with not much time in between each of them. She dated rapper Mac Miller from 2016 until May of 2018, which is the same month she started dating Saturday Night Live’s Pete Davidson. They broke up in October of 2018, and less than a year later, she started dating Mikey Foster. This pairing lasted until February of 2020, which is the same month that Ariana and Dalton Gomez were first seen hanging out.
Ariana and Ethan have been spotted together in Manhattan a number of times, and the "break up with your girlfriend" singer appeared at the first preview performance of Spamalot, which Slater is currently starring in. They were also seen on a date night at Walt Disney World on Sept. 22.
Fan reactions
Many fans took to Reddit to share their thoughts on Ariana’s relationship habits, and many share the same concerns as her close friends. "I think she’s addicted to love, or the rush that comes with a new relationship," one user suggested. "Always chasing the dream."
Another fan suspects there was some cheating involved, suggesting that Ethan and Ariana were seeing one another romantically before their divorces were finalized. "Even if there was nothing physical until the divorces were final, there were still some inappropriate things going on, I’m sure," they wrote.
"She's a homewrecker," another user posted. "She helped create a broken house for a child."
"Headed in the wrong direction? The whole thing is going in the wrong direction," a final fan wrote. Hopefully this relationship will stand the test of time.
