Potential Salmonella Contamination

Green Life Farms discovered the potential contamination after conducting routine testing on a single harvest of Baby Arugula. Fortunately, due to the company's swift plan of action, no other harvests of their Baby Arugula have been affected.

Salmonella is a bacteria that can cause mild to severe symptoms in humans and occasionally animals. Symptoms of Salmonella infection include diarrhea, fever, and abdominal cramps. You would know if you're experiencing symptoms of Salmonella within 12 to 72 hours of consumption, and the symptoms can last anywhere from four to seven days. Young children, the elderly, and individuals with weak immune systems are more likely to experience severe infections.
