Cheese aficionados beware! Two types of sliced cheese sold at Costco have been recalled due to the fact that they may contain “a very small quantity of gray and black plastic pieces,” Tillamook announced recently.

Tillamook Cheese Recall at Costco
32-ounce twin-pack packages of Tillamook Colby Jack and Tillamook Monterey Jack cheese slices sold at Costco have been recalled "in an abundance of caution" after the company discovered "a very small quantity of gray and black plastic pieces."
Recalled products were sold at Northwest Costcos between have item numbers of May 9 and May 31 and are labeled with item number 651195 and the Best If Used By date of October 22, 2024.
If you are in possession of this recalled product, you should not eat them, and should return them to Costco for a full refund.
"If you have already consumed the product without issue, you do not need to take any action, as the likely presence of the foreign plastic material is very minimal," the recall notes.
