We Still Can’t Get Over Aubrey Plaza’s High-Slit Miu Miu Dress For The DGA Awards—And Her Going Back To Brunette!

Aubrey Plaza has been hitting the red carpet in style. The White Lotus star always dresses to impress, and we think she’s taken her aesthetic to the next level for the 2023 awards show season. First she debuted jaw-dropping platinum locks at the start of the season (so Kim Kardashian of her), and then she started showing off those insanely rock-hard abs in crop top sets of all varieties. But what she wore to the 75th Directors Guild of America Awards at The Beverly Hilton on Saturday, February 18th, just might take the cake. She absolutely shut it down in a high-slit black dress from Miu Miu, and what do you know! She debuted yet another hair change. Oh, Aubrey, you really know how to steal the show. You could say Aubrey Plaza understood the assignment when she walked the red carpet in Beverly Hills, California two weeks ago. We still haven’t recovered!

The back-to-brunette stunner wowed at the 2023 Directors Guild of America Awards in a stunning black Miu Miu look that featured a very high slit that showed off Aubrey’s toned gams.

The Miu Miu dress also had a low neckline, showing off just the right amount of cleavage. Never one to overdo a look, Aubrey kept her accessories simple and minimal with a pair of large silver hoops. Her makeup was equally low-key and effortless, and her newly brunette locks were perfectly tousled in loose curls. It seemed like Aubrey was back to her true colors—literally—with this signature all-black look and her matching signature dark hair. We have to say, we did love her blonde moment but we really love her brunette tresses. The 38-year-old beauty was one of our favorite looks at the awards show, and her performance in The White Lotus was truly iconic.

Aubrey has unsurprisingly been busy making the rounds to promote the hit show over the past  few months, including hosting Saturday Night Live. She also appeared on too many talk shows to count, explaining her excitement about hosting the show she once was an intern for years ago.

 Plaza described one original sketch idea that she had back in the day: a “pill-popping housewife who had her own talk show called Celebri-Tails, where I would just name celebrities and name what kind of tail they would have if they had a tail. Like I would say, ‘Lindsay Lohan would have a bushy squirrel’s tail.’ Or, like, ‘Bill Clinton would have a polar bear’s nub.'”This is why we love Aubrey Plaza—not only is she stunning, stylish, and seriously talented—she’s also uniquely hilarious.
