Aubrey Plaza Pays Tribute To Her Late Husband On ‘Saturday Night Live’ 50th Anniversary Special
The White Lotus star paid tribute to her late husband by wearing a tie-dye printed T-shirt underneath her black suit when she introduced Miley Cyrus and Brittany Howard for their performance of Sinéad O’Connor’s “Nothing Compares 2 U.”
Fans will remember that tie-dye has a very special connection to the couple, which Plaza referenced in several interviews over the years. In a December 2021 appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, the brunette beauty recalled: “We were in the lockdown. Things got a little crazy, especially in my house. My husband got really into tie-dying and when I say tie-dying, I mean 50 shirts a day.”

That's not where the couple's tie-dye obsession ended, as the actress told Drew Barrymore on an episode of her talk show that they even wore tie-dye pajamas for their impromptu wedding!
Aubrey explained: "We got married on a whim. Literally decided at around 5pm and got married at 8:30. Jeff got really into tie-dyeing during the quarantine. So, I decided that Jeff and I were going to wear tie-dye pajamas that he had made for us."
