You can shed a tear because summer is flying by. But on the plus side, it’s almost time to slip on a new sweater or crisp new jeans, or how about a fresh pairs of flats for fall? Fall shopping is the best (it’s the January of fashion, remember?) and so while we mourn the end of hot summer days, we embrace new trends with open arms. This week’s big trend to discuss: fall flats!

Flats are typically the first shoe everyone buys for the new season. They always fit whether you’ve got your summer bod or not, and in recent years there have been so many good ones (we’re looking at you, Gucci mules!). So–what’s the biggest shoe trend so far for fall 2018?

The answer, of course, is basket weave mules!

This is the perfect transitional shoe from summer to fall. It’s closed-toed yet breathable, due to the open basket weave. You don’t have to go for the trendy white hue, they also come in natural, black, pink–you name it. We found so many great pairs, mostly under $100, that you have no excuse to jump on board with the trend!
