Known for her chic, polished and minimalist fashion sense, Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle is widely recognized to be a style icon.

Following her royal debut in 2018, Meghan rocked one classic look after another, from her custom wedding dress to the gorgeous olive green Staud Millie Maxi dress she wore on tour in South Africa. And while Meghan prefers to mix high-end items with affordable finds, she counts long-time friend and designer Roland Mouret among her favorites. The star has been friends with Mouret long before becoming a Mountbatten-Windsor – even choosing his Barwick dress on the eve of her wedding! – so it’s no surprise she regularly wears his creations.

During her last series of events as a working royal family member, Meghan paid a visit to the National Theater dressed in a sheer puff sleeve Topshop blouse and print Roland Mouret skirt. We love how the chevron pattern adds a cool graphic touch to the understated outfit. And as is typical of her more formal royal looks, it’s cut to a clean figure-skimming shape that’s sophisticated with just a touch of sexy.

All hail Meghan, Queen of Style!

Yesterday, The Duchess of Sussex, Royal patron of the National Theatre, visited the Immersive Storytelling Studio in London, where emerging technology like Virtual Reality is being used to develop new forms of emotive storytelling. Recently, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex also visited Stanford University where part of their learning journey included a virtual reality presentation that allows the user to experience life through another person’s point of view. The goal of this method of virtual reality is to enable us to better connect and empathise with each other as people, regardless of race, age or nationality.
