Bella Hadid can pull off almost any beauty look, and lately she’s been stepping even further out of her comfort zone. That’s why fans were thrilled when the supermodel took to Instagram to show off a shocking blonde pixie cut and dramatic eye makeup for the Dior Homme show on December 8. She looks almost unrecognizable!
The 24-year-old beauty shared behind-the-scenes snaps of the making of her promotional video for the show, where she rocked the edgy blonde chop with some visible brown roots. Hadid dressed in a stunning black power suit, wearing a bold mauve eye look and posing with a smiling pink lollipop.
This was not the first time Hadid switched up her look for a fashion campaign in the last few months, with the model posing in a number of bold wigs for a recent promotional shoot with Chrome Hearts. In her Instagram caption for the looks, Hadid spoke about how the pandemic made her realize how fortunate she was and how much she wanted to ‘manifest happiness and full stomachs for anyone struggling,’ so she hand tie-dyed a collection of Chrome Hearts tees with 100% of the profits going towards Feeding America.
Hadid also teased another colorful new look in a recent campaign for Heaven by Marc Jacobs, where she rocked her typical brown hair with chunky streaks of red and blue. The model loves to play with her style off the runway, so we’re sure it’s fun to have a career where that’s part of the job listing!
While the bold blonde pixie cut was only temporary, and the model is now back to her brown roots, Hadid only proved that no look is unwearable for her. We doubt we’ll see her permanently ditching her chocolate brown hair anytime soon, but if she wants to, at least she knows a pixie cut is on the table!
