Bella Hadid is the queen of cool girl style and can make a trash bag look hot. This summer, the 24-year-old has been posing in one tiny bikini after another, and wearing belly chains on the daily.
When it comes to bikini trends, Bella has tried them all—and same goes for crop tops. That is…until we saw her wearing the latest pin top trend.
Bella isn’t the first celeb to wear the pin top trend— which, as you might’ve guessed from the name, is basically a top held together by just a pin (because buttons are overrated). This trend is pretty daring and requires going braless—so if any celeb is going to rock it to the fullest, it’s Bella. The supermodel was spotted out and about in NYC wearing the pin top trend and matching skirt.
And she has been a big fan of the trend all summer, sharing a variety of pin tops on her Instagram, including a seriously skimpy hot pink version that she paired with oversized khaki pants. But with abs like Bella, low-cut pants and pin tops look effortless.
Despite how close she is to a wardrobe malfunction while wearing these pin tops, there’s something about Bella’s style that make us want to try risky trends. It’s like Mean Girls: “One time I saw Cady Heron wearing army pants and flip-flops. So I bought army pants and flip-flops.” Basically, we saw Bella Hadid wearing low-rise pants and pin tops, and now we want to wear low-rise pants and pin tops.
And as summer comes to an end, and more clothing becomes a necessity, we think the ‘pin top’ trend Bella has been loving is the perfect way to continue showing off skin as the temperatures start to drop.
