Ben Affleck may be a little annoyed that Jennifer Lopez is continuing to talk about their divorce with the media, but for the most part, the 52-year-old Gone Girl actor is reportedly extremely “happy” these days.

This doesn’t come as too much of a surprise, as he has been papped looking visibly happier in recent pictures, which is a stark contrast to how “miserable,” to quote a brand expert, he looked during his two-year marriage to the JLo Beauty founder.

Ben Affleck Is Reportedly 'Happy' And Focusing On His Work And Children

According to reports, the Batman v Superman actor is focusing on his career and the three children he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner: daughters Seraphina and Violet, and son Samuel.

"Ben's very focused on work and his kids. He's staying busy and happy," an insider spilled to People, before going on to talk about how his good friend Matt Damon is helping him professionally and personally.

Ben Affleck Is Reportedly Enjoying Working With Friend Matt Damon

Affleck and Damon are working together on a number of different projects at the moment. Affleck is reportedly directing Damon in a commercial, and the two actors are also working together on the crime-thriller, RIP.

They are also in business together, and are reportedly working hard on their production company, Artists Equity. (It was behind Lopez's film Unstoppable, which may have made things a little awkward!)

Speaking about Affleck and Damon's close relationship, People's source said: "He's very close with Matt. Matt is Ben's confidant. Matt always knows exactly what's going on with Ben." The source added: "They also enjoy working together."

Matt Damon Seemingly Never Approved Of Jennifer Lopez

Affleck and Damon go way back, with Damon reportedly warning Affleck about Lopez when they first rekindled their romance.

"Matt tried to warn Ben when he got back together with J-Lo that this could happen," an insider dished to the Daily Mail at the time. "Matt was there to help Ben get it together after their first split and he felt like this would happen again."

"As things started falling apart, Matt told Ben that he supports whatever choice he makes, but wants him to jump in and focus on his work," the source went on to say at the time, before going on to suggest that the "I'm Real" singer didn't seem to be doing much for his career.

"Ben spent so much time focusing on J-Lo's projects just like he did the first time around. He told Ben, 'What has she ever done for your career?'" the insider continued, before saying that Damon ultimately wanted to be there for his friend, as he didn't want him to slip back into his old ways.

"Matt is the only real guy friend Ben has. He would not let him get back on the bottle and has been on him to make sure of this," the source concluded.
