Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are seemingly trying to make the world believe that they are both doing okay after the 55-year-old JLo Beauty mogul filed for divorce on their second wedding anniversary.
However, it’s starting to look like some of the children are suffering, as it’s been reported that the 52-year-old Gone Girl actor has made no contact with the Marry Me actress’s two children, despite her still keeping in contact with the three children he shares with ex Jennifer Garner. Ben Affleck Reportedly Hasn't Made Contact With Jennifer Lopez's Children Amid Divorce
There are many negative things that have been written about the Argo actor over the years, but being a bad father isn't one of them.
The Hustlers star previously gushed about what a good father he was to the three children he shares with the 13 Going on 30 actress – Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12 – as well as to 16-year-old twins Max and Emme, who she shares with ex Marc Anthony.
During an appearance on The View last year, Lopez said that Affleck was "an amazing dad," and praised the way he treated her twins.
"It brings tears to my eyes," she said at the time. "He is honestly the best dad I've ever seen. He's so involved. He teaches me about how to kind of interact with the kids sometimes. He's just so in tune. He's such a brilliant guy anyway, and he's so learned in so many things."
Therefore, the fact that he hasn't made contact with the twins is quite out of character, according to an insider. "Jennifer went out there and told the world what a great dad he was," an insider told People, before going on to say that the "I'm Real" singer is still close to the Deadpool & Wolverine actress and her three children, yet Affleck "has not been in touch with her kids," pictured below.

"The fact that he has not seen her kids in a long time, it's like he left, but she is especially close to his kids," the source continued, in reference to the Delola founder spending time with Affleck and Garner's kids. For example, the "Love Don't Cost a Thing" hitmaker attended Samuel's graduation ceremony back in June, and Violet spent a week with her in the Hamptons in July.
The source went on to sing J-Lo's praises, and called her a "good mom" who also keeps in touch with ex Marc Anthony's kids too. The source said: "She's also close to Marc's kids from [his] previous relationship. She keeps in touch with the children and she's a good mom."

Fans took to Reddit to share their thoughts on the rumors that Affleck hadn't been in contact with Max and Emme – and let's just say that he didn't come across well!
"What the actual [expletive] is wrong with Ben? Seriously," wrote one Reddit user, as one directly replied: "He seems like the sort of person who just totally emotionally shuts down at any sign of conflict."
"This is really sad," commented another, adding: "I read that the twins don't spend time with their own father, so if Ben was ever remotely present in their lives, this must be really upsetting for them." Another Reddit user wrote: "It would be super swell if he could get his [expletive] together and step up in the ways that the two Jennifers have in order to put the children first."
"Marriages end, but cutting the kids out like that is gross," slammed another. "He's the actual adult here who's apparently incapable of empathy or acting like one in any situation. It's always the women in his life who have to prop him up and do everything for him while he screws around," they added.
The same fan continued: "That said, this is clearly a PR leak designed to make him look bad, and while he continues to suck, I don't see any benefit to any of these kids for stuff like this to be put into the press. J-Lo, though somewhat better in some ways (the bar is subterranean, I know), is quite petty and overly concerned with her image at the expense of pretty much anything else. So her kids pay the price."
