By now, most of us know that alcohol isn't great for our diets. However, you don't have to completely give it up either. There are certain cocktails that are better than other for your weight loss goals.

The answer is... any basic mixed drink! So gin & tonic, vodka soda, you get the idea. Zuckerbrot explains, "when you drink a 1-ounce pour of most liquors and top them off with a calorie-free mixer, you end up with a drink that’s pretty low in calories, no matter the combination.”
Make sure to ask the bartender for a 1-ounce pour of whatever alcohol you're getting because most places actually give you 1.5 ounces. Who knew?!
