This is another great choice that you can pick up at Target, and it works especially well for those of us with wavier textures who want to keep straightened hair looking sleek. Best used as a finishing product after styling, this hairspray (in my experience) holds your frizz-free style for up to 24 hours, and seals moisture with its hydrating effects. Hair looks shiny and healthy as a result.

You can grab this hairspray at an Ulta location, and reap its volume-boosting, anti-frizz benefits. This product, I've found, helps to boost volume for flatter, thinner or finer hair while importantly *not* contributing to frizz or static— even in humid weather. It's infused with apple blossom and bamboo extract, two natural ingredients that Udoh recommends using in your hairspray, as they are "hydrating and nourishing to the hair," keeping it looking healthy without frizz, of course.
4. Garnier Fructis Flexible Control Anti-Humidity Aerosol Hair Spray ($5.59)
This hairspray also features the natural, hydrating and hair-healthy ingredient, bamboo extract. Udoh suggests that "to keep your hair looking great despite humidity or harsh weather conditions," to "use hairsprays that contain natural ingredients," such as this. This product can be found at your local CVS, and is light enough for finer hair textures as it can provide volume without frizz, and won't weigh down your locks or make them look flatter.
5. Herbal Essences Flexible Hairspray, 24 Hour Hold ($2.73)
If you often head to Walmart for your beauty and haircare needs, giving this hairspray a try can be more bang for your buck. If you need a travel size or just want enough for a trial, this 8 fl oz choice could do the trick, plus, it is gentle enough for daily use and protects your locks from humidity with its flexibile hold. In addition, it also does not contain any parabens, silicones or colorants, making it suitable for many hair and skin types. Plus, that price really can't be beat!
6. Dream Coat Supernatural Spray ($12)
Check out this hairspray the next time you shop at Ulta, as it can help you rock the Tik Tok-trendy 'glass hair' look. According to the store's site, this product "covers each hair strand with an invisible waterproofing cloak," which I've noticed when using it, leaving it looking shiny without being weighed down (and helping give a bouncy, lifted look after styling!) This spray is a little different from the others in this list as it works best when applied to damp hair just before blow drying, to lock in its humidity-proof power.
7. Reflections Liquid Shine ($20)
This humidity-resistant hair polish spray helps to not only combat the frizz-inducing effects of humidity on your tresses, but also to give thermal protection during heat styling. Protecting your strands against hot tools with a heat protectant, Udoh stresses, will ultimately help your other products "reduce frizz and lock in moisture." This hairspray found on Amazon is also suitable for dry wavy, curly, coily and kinky textured hair and formulated for color treated hair or chemically relaxed textures.
8. Suave Professionals Luxe Styling Anti Humidity Hairspray ($15.88)
You can also add this hairspray to your Amazon online cart for fuller-looking tresses without frizz. While protecting against humidity, I've noticed that this hairspray holds for frizz resistance longer than most (up to 72 hours) while also giving a brushable, bouncier finish that can make styling (and re-styling in-between washes) so much easier.

Ingredients like these, Will says, can "prevent your hair from getting frizzy and sticky," while also "helping your hair maintain its natural pH level to have a healthy scalp."

Whether you want beachy waves to stay in place or you're trying to keep your chic updo from falling, I've found that this hairspray locks and maintains your style for up to 48 hours. With UV filter & heat protection, this product will also shield your tresses from the sun's damaging rays (yes, this is still something to prioritize even in colder weather!) This spray (grab it at Walmart) also dries fairly quickly, keeps your hair feeling soft, and looking shiny all day long.
Overall, for the healthiest-looking, frizz-free hair, Will concludes that choosing a hairspray with natural ingredients (like those listed above) is the way to go. Another ingredient she recommends looking out for in your humidity-proof hairspray is "aloe vera," as well as an "organic" label.
In addition, when using one of the ten aforementioned hairpsray products, Will recommends styling your hair in the following ways to prevent a frizzy look— a chic, slicked-back bun, or a shorter, more blunt cut.
