Drinking too much coffee during the day can cause some major health problems, such as caffeine addiction, insomnia, and nervousness. Also, the more coffee you drink during the day, the more likely you're going to crash later. Skip the crash and stay awake just by drinking one cup of coffee a day!
"How is that possible?" you may ask. It's all about timing! Drinking a cup of coffee early in the morning might help you wake up, but the caffeine will only last for a few hours, causing you to crash by your lunch break and leave you feeling sluggish untl you finally get in bed.
So, what time should you be sipping on coffee? According to Time, the best time to drink coffee is between 10 a.m. and noon or 2 p.m.-5 p.m. The reason isn't just because of caffeine crashes, but also due to your cortisone levels!
When you first wake up in the morning, your cortisone levels are very high, and mixing cortisone and caffein can be detrimental to your health! It interferes with your body's cortisol production, causing your body to become more reliant on caffeine to compensate. So, make sure you time your coffee right, for the sake of your body!
