Beyoncé made a stunning appearance at the fifth annual Wearable Art Gala last week in a strapless black dress with a shiny satin bodice (and we’re still not over it!) The Renaissance hitmaker, 41, turned heads as she graced the red carpet in a custom Gucci gown that featured a sultry, white neckline with gray sequined star details that helped emphasize her décolletage. The curve-hugging frock also showed off her tiny waistline, and had an eye-catching feather-trim train designed by Alessandro Michele.

The Grammy winner arrived at Where Art Can Occur Theater Center’s event at the Barker Hangar hotel in Santa Monica, CA alongside her husband Jay-Z, 52, who looked equally as stylish in a crisp, black suit with a white dress shirt underneath and black bowtie. Beyoncé completed her Old Hollywood-inspired look with balloon-cuff pink opera gloves, chandelier diamond earrings by Lorraine Schwartz, and black sunglasses.

The style icon wore her long, caramel-colored tresses down, parted to the side and styled into elegant, loose waves while also rocking a silvery smokey eye look, voluminous lashes, rosy blush on her cheekbones, and a glossy pink lip to pull it all together.

The Wearable Art Gala, according to WWD, aimed to help raise funds for the organization’s “artistic and youth mentorship programs.” The 2022 event theme was inspired by the films Harlem Nights and The Cotton Club, while also celebrating fashion from 1920 to 1950 (and Beyoncé’s look had a modern twist to hers). Oscar-nominated actress, Black Panther star Angela Bassett was honored with the “Film & TV Icon Award,” and artist Mark Bradford took home the “Art Icon Award.”

Beyoncé shared her glamorous outfit for the night in 3 separate photo collection posts for her 280 million Instagram followers. In the first round-up, the “Alien Superstar” singer gave fans a glimpse at her ensemble from all angles on the red carpet, and also highlighted her husband’s epic style moment as well.

In the next carousel, Beyoncé shared more sweet photos of her and Jay-Z along with the sketch of her custom dress. For her final photo compilation, the Destiny’s Child alum shared pics of herself posing with R&B duo Chloe & Halle as well as a mother-daughter pic with her eldest child, Blue Ivy, 10, who donned a cobalt blue suit.

Naturally, fans couldn’t get enough of Beyoncé’s post and get-up to the gala, with one dubbing her a “timeless beauty” and another writing that when it comes to red carpet style moments, that she always “eats it up and leaves no crumbs.” We agree!
