The “16 Carriages” singer also won the ‘Best Country Duo/Group Performance’ award for “II Most Wanted” with Miley Cyrus, and also, controversially again, the ‘Album of the Year’ award for Cowboy Carter.
Some of the artists and albums Beyoncé beat for the prestigious ‘Album of the Year’ award were Sabrina Carpenter for Short n’ Sweet, Charli XCX for Brat, Billie Eilish for Hit Me Hard and Soft, and Taylor Swift for The Tortured Poets Department. Social Media Calls Beyoncé 'Fake' For Acting 'Surprised' Over Win
"Wonder how much money Jay-Z paid for her to win," joked one fan on a Today Instagram post, featuring a video of Swift presenting a shocked Beyoncé with the award. "I am in shock too, terrible album," quipped a second, as a third said: "She acted shocked because she shouldn't have won."
"She knows her album was not country. Money talks." "Definitely paid somebody off to win that award," thought a fourth. "That's so fake," thought a fifth fan, in reference to Bey's shocked reaction, followed by three crying emojis.
"Acting surprised after your husband goes off saying you deserve every award there is. But ok. Act surprised and deserving of it. Cringe," slammed a sixth, followed by three crying laughing emojis.

"What a slap in the face to all long-time country singers! Shame on Grammys, biggest disappointment of the night!" exclaimed a seventh. "She's not a country singer. That album is not even country. So disappointed," concurred an eighth. "Even she knew she wasn't supposed to win lol," joked a ninth.
"Exactly why I stopped watching the Grammys YEARS ago. Nothing but a big clown show," criticized another disappointed fan, as another angry viewer said: "What a rig job and joke! Immediately changed the channel!" "Turned the TV off right after that," echoed another, followed by the eye rolling emoji.
