Even a multi-Grammy-winning global superstar like Beyoncé has insecurities – which is why we aren’t surprised to hear that she has a strict set of rules for husband Jay-Z to follow.
According to reports, the 54-year-old “Empire State of Mind” musician is very “grateful” that the 42-year-old “Texas Hold’em” singer didn’t put an end to their marriage when infidelity rumors first arose back in 2014. And insiders reportedly think that he may not have strayed in recent years due to his wife’s strict rules, which include not spending one-on-one time with female musicians, and limiting his nights out with the boys.

"Jay's ultimately very grateful that she didn't give up on him back in the day. So he shows his respect by following her rules," an insider reportedly told In Touch.
"He used to go out with the boys all the time but that's off-limits," the source continued, adding: "And Beyoncé doesn't like him having one-on-ones with his female talent."
Beyoncé has sung about her husband's wandering eye on several of her albums, including her most recent Cowboy Carter album. However, even though she has referenced Jay-Z's past infidelities in the latest album, including her cover of Dolly Parton's "Jolene," it seems like her strict rules have had a positive effect on the marriage.
Beyoncé Insists On Couple's Therapy And Regular Date Nights
As well as telling her husband what he can't do, there are also things he can and should do, including regularly attending therapy sessions with his wife. The insider went on to confirm that they work hard at their marriage and make time for date nights to keep the spark alive.
"They work hard at making their marriage work, and they're in a healthier place since Beyoncé put her foot down," the source stated.
