Beyonce's Rep Shuts Down DNC Appearance Rumors: 'Untrue'

Recently, the Beyhive buzzed with excitement over rumors that their Queen Bey might attend and perform at this year’s DNC in celebration of Vice President Kamala Harris' historic presidential nomination.

However, much to her fans' disappointment, the rumors turned out to be false. Her rep told The Hollywood Reporter: "Beyoncé was never scheduled to be there. The report of a performance is untrue."

Still, her presence was felt through her music at the convention. Beyoncé’s song “Freedom” played as Harris both entered and exited the stage for her speech, where she formally accepted the party’s nomination later.

The mother of three granted Harris permission to use the 2016 Lemonade track for her presidential campaign.
