Billie Eilish is the latest A-lister to go for the chop, following in the trend-setting footsteps of Selena Gomez and Kourtney Kardashian, among others. The 19-year-old Grammy-winner gave her fans the very first look at her chic new ‘do by sharing a picture of her much shorter locks on her Instagram on Sunday, November 28th. And it’s safe to say that her fans were all in agreement that the new hair, which was a chin-grazing length and featured blunt, block bangs, was a big hit!
The new hair pic was actually a promo for her debut fragrance, very aptly named ‘Eilish,’ which was released for the second time the following day. Eilish captioned the post: “9AM PT TOMORROW. @billieeilishfragrances.” FYI, the first release of the fragrance sold out in less than 24 hours earlier in the month, so we bet her fans who missed out on the scent are glad that she gave them another heads up! While Billie’s new hair might not be as dramatic a change as Gigi Hadid’s recent new ‘do, it’s certainly a change that got people talking! One fan wrote, “AHHHH THE HAIR,” while another added, “THE HAIR YES MAAM.” “UR HAIR” commented another fan. We love the use of the caps lock for extra drama and excitement!

This isn’t the first major hair-over the “Lost Cause” singer has had over the past few months. She cut her hair into a shaggy blonde bob after the release of her new album, “Happier Than Ever,” back in August, which was a change we definitely weren’t expecting. The “No Time To Die” singer clearly knows that short hair works for her, as we think this new look – which is definitely her shortest one yet – looks incredible!
Billie has sported everything from a blonde wig to black hair with green roots and everything in-between over the past few years, so this is certainly a more conventional hairstyle if her previous looks are anything to go by. However, much like most other performers, we predict that it’ll only be a matter of time ’til she transforms her hair yet again. We can’t wait to see what she does next! (But we do hope she keeps this style for a while, because we are obsessed!)
