Blake Lively Shares Details Of Her New Hair Care Line
Blake Brown Beauty launched in Target, in stores and online, on August 4. The line includes two shampoos, two masks, dry shampoo, leave-in conditioner, pre-shampoo mask, and mousse, with prices ranging from $18.99 to $24.99.
The Gossip Girl icon opened up to Harper’s Bazaar about her own hair, and she said, “I was always interested in hair. I mean, I had more opportunities come to me in the haircare space, thankfully, than in any other space. Like more than my real job of acting.” She added, “I never changed my hair much. I have a look that I like, and it became quite distinct to me. If I wanna walk down the street in New York City, literally, if I just put my hair in a bun, I can walk around and people don’t look twice.”
Lively said on her Instagram that she “wanted something that was more affordable but had the same salon/red carpet performance,” adding that her hair care line is also “vegan, cruelty free and formulated without sulfates, silicones, parabens, synthetic dyes etc.”
