Blake Lively‘s red carpet appearance at the Tiffany & Co. reopening party in New York City last week was nothing short of stunning. She wore a plunging brown leather Brandon Maxwell gown that showcased her figure and curves perfectly, but it was her hairstyle that had fans talking. The Gossip Girl icon sported her long, natural curls down, and while many admired her style, some weren’t so enthusiastic.
One fan on Twitter joked that Lively should “fire her hairdresser now” as another noted that they wished Lively “wore her hair differently.” Even among this criticism, there were still fans that expressed that the Age of Adaline actress looked “beautiful as always” on the red carpet at the event while another commended her for “epically” sporting her “post-pregnancy belly” with the help of the gown’s flattering design.

While gracing the carpet, Lively rocked a cocoa-colored, sultry number from Brandon Maxwell's pre-fall 2022 collection. The long-sleeved number had buttons all the way down the center and a belt that showed off Lively's tiny waist. She left several buttons undone for a low-cut neckline and high slit that also helped flaunt her figure.
She stepped out in matching brown platform, open-toe heels, and accessorized with shimmering gold jewelry, including two bracelets, a statement necklace, and a glittery ring. As for her aforementioned hair, she wore her long, blonde curly tresses down, parted in the center and styled into a blown-out, very voluminous look.

For her makeup look, Lively went for black eyeliner, brown, blended, smokey eyeshadow, sky-high lashes, rosy blush on her cheekbones, a glossy reddish lip color and radiant highlighter.
The A Simple Favor star's stylish appearance came days after she made her return to the red carpet after welcoming her fourth child with husband Ryan Reynolds. Just a few days prior, Lively attended the 2023 Barnard Annual Gala and donned a white off-the-shoulder sundress with a botanical, floral print from Carolina Herrera.
Her A-line midi dress was from the label's fall/winter 2023 collection. Although we sadly didn't catch Lively at the 2023 Met Gala, we think these two recent looks certainly help to fill the void!
