Blake Lively Slashes Prices
Blake Brown, sold exclusively at Target, has a wide range of products, from shampoo and conditioner to masks and mousse. The packaging is as memorable as Blake's hair, from the geometric shapes that make up the bottles to the gold, silver, and bronze toned hues they're colored in. Given Lively has some of the most iconic locks out there, it was no surprise when she announced she'd be launching her own haircare line.
However, due at least in part to the negative press she's getting through her messy lawsuit with Justin Baldoni, the line is not selling well. Now, Target Circle members who purchase one of Blake's haircare products at full price can get another product for 50% off.
Blake Brown At Thrift Stores
In fact, according to a blind item, the product "is allegedly doing so poorly that target is now selling it to thrift stores." Fortune.com is claiming that sales have declined nearly 78% since her lawsuit with Baldoni launched.
However, fans are pointing out that even before the Blake Lively vs. Justin Baldoni sea of lawsuits came to be, Blake Brown wasn't selling that well. One user in particular, @jubileedawns, posted a lengthy review of the product on her page. "I am here to de-influence you from getting the Blake Brown line from Blake Lively," she began her video.
"My hair feels like straw, it feels like I went into a chlorine pool and never washed it out. It just feels really awful. So I just wanted to come on here and say, if you were thinking about getting this, don't."
