Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani just announced that their recent duet video has earned 1.5 billion Youtube views! The couple must be thrilled at their success, especially since they recorded the video at home during lockdown.
Called Happy Together, the song is the couple’s second duet together. They posted it to Youtube in July, and just last week Shelton shared on Twitter that the video has already been watched 1.5 billion times. He wrote, Am I reading this right...1.5 BILLION @YouTube video views?!?! WOW. Best fans in the world!!"
Shelton and Stefani filmed the video at their ranch in Oklahoma, where they had waited out quarantine along with Stefani’s three sons and her brother Todd. According to Hello Magazine, Todd played a big role in helping the couple make their Happy Together music video.
It’s no surprise that Happy Together has become so popular, given that both partners were already successful musicians when they met in 2014.
The success of the music video may not be the only thing Shelton and Stefani have to celebrate. The couple revealed to Us Weekly that they would like to get married once the pandemic is over.
