Since getting together in 2015, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani seem to have had a fairytale romance.
The duo met on the set of The Voice in 2014. And although their relationship initially caused a stir of surprised media attention, they are now a staple couple in Hollywood–or in Oklahoma where they have been spending time on Shelton’s ranch.
And it seems that quarantine has only brought the couple closer together, especially considering Blake’s recent Instagram tribute.
Check out his post here!
The couple looks happy to be together in the sweet photo, and Shelton’s caption was the cherry on top. He wrote, “I could be #HappyAnywhere with YOU.”
The caption is a reference to the couple’s recent duet “Happy Anywhere.”
The lyrics of their new song are definitely romantic.
The duo sings, "You're always my destination / You're the the only thing that I'm chained to / I could be happy anywhere / I could be happy anywhere with you."
Fans loved the post. One wrote, "It's nice to see you both found your soul mate. Many blessings."
Another praised the couple, writing. "Feel the love!! So happy for both of you!!"
It's not just Blake and Gwen's relationship that has fans talking.
Blake appreciated the fan response, saying, "I’m glad everyone is loving the song as much as we do. It’s been fun for us to perform the song a few times and I can’t wait to be able to play this song on stage with an audience. Until then we’re going to be happy where we are."
With an interview with the Today Show, Shelton explained why they decided to release the new song now: "We were waiting for the right time to release it, and I knew that time was now. We're all still socially distancing, so there's no better time to be happy anywhere with the person or people you love."
