Blue Ivy Carter made a stylish appearance in a strapless dress at the 67th annual Grammys earlier this week. This follows the controversy stirred by her outfit choice at the December 2024 Mufasa: The Lion King premiere in Hollywood, which many deemed unsuitable for a 13-year-old.

For the Grammys on February 2nd, Blue Ivy wore a stunning blue corset ballgown designed by Naeem Khan, accessorized with diamonds. She embraced her mother as Beyoncé celebrated winning Best Country Album and Album of the Year for Cowboy Carter.

To dazzle up her look even more, Blue Ivy added a glittery statement silver necklace and matching hoop earrings. As for her glam, the voice actress sported black winged liner, smokey eyeshadow, rosy blush and a mauve lipstick hue.

Her record-breaking mother, 43, donned a bespoke, tailored Schiaparelli Haute Couture paisley dress paired with coordinating long gloves, both created by Daniel Roseberry.

The "16 Carriages" singer's halter-neck gown featured intricate ecru and gold paisley bandana patterns, highlighted by an openwork drop accented with a pearl on the front. A matching stole, entirely embroidered with feathers, completed her ensemble.

The Grammy winner wore her platinum blonde tresses down, parted in the center and styled sleek-straight. For her makeup look, the "Halo" artist rocked sparkly eyeshadow, black liner, glistening blush and a pink pout.

Beyoncé Reportedly Focused on 'Safeguarding' Blue Ivy’s Brand and 'Creating Legacy' as Jay-Z Faces Scandal and Criticism

The "Crazy in Love" singer is also reportedly meticulously planning her daughter Blue Ivy's future in the entertainment industry by “safeguarding” her brand following her father Jay-Z‘s controversy. The eldest daughter of the famous duo already boasts a stacked portfolio, having performed alongside her mother on tour, contributed her voice to the 2024 Mufasa: The Lion King film, and engaged in various other projects.

According to the U.S. Sun, Queen Bey has finally obtained the green light to proceed with trademarking her daughter’s name after a 12-year dispute, potentially resulting in millions of dollars for the family. This decision coincides with Jay-Z’s denial of allegations that he raped a teenager in 2000, following a lawsuit involving him and former associate Sean “Diddy” Combs.

The family presented a united display at the Los Angeles premiere of Disney’s Mufasa: The Lion King back in December, as the "99 Problems" rapper, 55, and "Cuff It" hitmaker showed their support for their eldest daughter, who voices the character of Kiara.

Grayce McCormick, founder of Lightfinder PR, commented that Beyoncé's action to secure Blue Ivy's trademark is a strategic move demonstrating "her keen awareness of personal branding and legacy building." McCormick suggested that the former Destiny's Child member could further Blue Ivy's career by using her influence to open doors for her daughter. Beyoncé, who has been married to Jay-Z since 2008, also shares 7-year-old twins Rumi and Sir with him.
