Angelina Jolie Brings Knox To Governors Awards
Knox, who generally likes to stay out of the spotlight, stood happily next to his mother at the Governors Awards last weekend, marking his first public appearance in three years. He wore a sharp tuxedo with a black bowtie, keeping it simple as he stood arm and arm with his mother.
Jolie wore a floor-length yellow dress that she purchased from a local vintage shop, The Kit Vintage. The dress had a gold beaded bodice with halter-style straps that laced up from the back, and also features a flow-y, semi-sheer skirt with mohair overlay. She didn't hold back on the diamonds, either, sporting a pair of sparkling drop earrings, a bunch of glimmering rings on both hands, and a statement diamond necklace.
Brad Pitt Questions Angelina Jolie's Motives
Angelina Jolie has, on numerous occasions, brought her children along to awards shows and red carpet events as her plus one, but this time feels different—at least according to her ex-husband. The actor reportedly thinks that Angelina Jolie brought Knox along "to push [Brad's] buttons," according to a source speaking to Page Six.
"Brad finds it a bit coincidental that a judge signed off on the Miraval trial just days before Knox joined Angelina at the Governors Awards," the source continued, referencing the latest lawsuit in the Brangelina divorce battle. "So he really questions her motive for bringing Knox."
However, a separate source spoke to Page Six and explained that Knox made his own decision about the event. "He typically prefers to stay out of the spotlight and Angelina respects that decision, but he asked if he could join her, and of course she was thrilled that he wanted to be there," the insider said. "Angelina felt so proud having Knox by her side."
