Brad and Ines have been dating for almost two years now, after first sparking dating rumors in November 2022, with fans wondering when they were going to attend their first red carpet together.
Perhaps the Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood actor felt that the Venice International Film Festival was the best time due to the rumors that his ex-wife Angelina Jolie – who he is still fighting with in court – was also going to be there.
Venice Film Festival Organizers Reportedly Worked Hard To Ensure Brad Pitt Didn't Run Into Angelina Jolie
It wasn't likely that the feuding exes were going to cross paths though, as organizers reportedly worked hard to ensure that they wouldn't. The festival's artistic director Alberto Barbera reportedly told Vanity Fair that extra precautions were taken to ensure the famous exes wouldn't run into each other. And from what we can tell, their plan seems to have worked!
Barbera told the pub that "Angelina will be on the first day, on Thursday [August 29th], and she will leave right after with [Maria director] Pablo Larraín" for the Telluride Film Festival. "So Brad will arrive only on Saturday, to Venice. There is no way that they can cross each other at the Lido," Barbera added.

Although Brad and Angelina didn't cross paths, the Bullet Train star *did* hang out with his good friend George Clooney (who is also his Wolfs co-star) and his stunning wife Amal Clooney on the red carpet.
Not only did the glamorous foursome pose for pictures together on the red carpet, but they reportedly also had dinner together at one of George's favorite restaurants in Venice the night before. According to Page Six, the foursome went on a double date to Ristorante da Ivo for dinner on Saturday, August 31st, and were papped taking a taxi boat ride there.
