Brad Pitt‘s son Pax reportedly called him an “awful human being,” among other derogatory things, in a scathing Father’s Day Instagram post that was shared three years ago. The post was recently unearthed and published by the Daily Mail, and it has since, to no surprise, gone viral.
Pax, now 19, who Pitt, 59, shares with ex-wife Angelina Jolie, 48, reportedly posted the scathing expletive-filled message on his personal Instagram account back in 2020. It’s assumed that they didn’t have a great relationship three years ago, but their father-son relationship is reportedly much better now if we are to believe newer reports about the actor having a great bond with most of his children, with eldest son Maddox reportedly being the only one he hasn’t patched things up with yet.
Pitt shares five other children with the Maleficent actress: son Maddox, 22, daughters Zahara, 18, and Shiloh, 17, as well as twins Vivienne and Knox, 15.
Pax Jolie-Pitt's Scathing Father's Day Message Goes Viral
"Happy Father's Day to this world class [expletive]," Pax, who was 16 at the time, reportedly wrote on his personal Instagram account, alongside a picture of his father accepting the Oscar for 'Best Supporting Actor' for his role in Once Upon a Time in… Hollywood in 2020.
"You time and time and again prove yourself to be a terrible and despicable person," Pax continued, adding: "You have no consideration or empathy toward your four youngest children who tremble in fear when in your presence. You have made the lives of those closest to me a constant hell."
"You may tell yourself and the world whatever you want, but the truth will come to light someday," he added. He finished off by writing: "So, Happy Father's Day, you [expletive] awful human being!!!"
Zahara Drops Her Father's Last Name
Despite many reports claiming that the Ad Astra actor's relationship with the rest of his children is slowly improving, it was reported last month that his eldest daughter Zahara, who was adopted from Ethiopia back in 2005, has now dropped his last name.
The 18-year-old seemed to change her last name from 'Jolie-Pitt' to 'Jolie' during a sorority induction ceremony at Spelman College, a liberal arts school in Atlanta, Georgia. According to The Independent, she appeared to identify herself as 'Zahara Marley Jolie' when she made her debut as a new Alpha Kappa Alpha member at the first historically Black sorority. Wearing a chic black midi dress, black heels, and white pearls, Zahara also said in her speech: "Coming all the way from the Golden State in the city that is full of angels, Los Angeles, California... I am this line's number seven."
