"He was influenced by Ines to finally settle," an insider reportedly dished to Page Six, before going on to say that the jewelry designer allegedly wanted him to settle because she wanted them to have a fresh start.
"Ines wants to have a life together – with possibly children in the future – without the albatross that was the eight-year War of the Roses," the insider continued, adding that she told the F1 actor that "life would be much more enjoyable" if he settled.

"Ines is a positive influence on Brad. She has a really good perspective on things," another source shared with the pub, adding: "It's sad how this whole thing has played out, but at least this is progress in the right direction."
And it wasn't just Ines who felt this way, as the insider went on to say that both Brad and Angelina decided that the messy legal battle had gone on for far too long, and it was finally time for them to put it behind them.
The source said: "Both sides realized it was time to move on. It was mutually beneficial to get it done with."
