Bradley Cooper In 'The Righteous Gemstones'
Joining the show for the fourth and final seasons of The Righteous Gemstones, a comedy series following a famous and dysfunctional family of televangelists, Bradley Cooper needed to get into character. He played Elijah Gemstone, a Civil War-era robber turned preacher with a ton of facial hair.
For the role, Bradley Cooper grew a full and bushy beard, committing to the part wholly—the creator of the show, Danny McBride, revealed that Cooper even wore "a period piece wool costume in 90 degree weather for 10 days straight." Talk about commitment!
