There's a reason Sin City is one of the top bachelorette party venues. There's no shortage of pools, bars, and activities (*cough strip shows cough*) to keep you and your bridal party entertained. But, to make the most of your Las Vegas trip, avoid making any of these nine mistakes...and recreating The Hangover IRL.

Not anticipating lines. You're not the only woman in the world who wants to let loose in Vegas for your bachelorette getaway. Lots of other brides have the same idea, so be prepared for long lines everywhere. Going to the bathroom? Long line. Pool party? Long line. Going to a bar? You guessed it—long line. Plan accordingly.
Booking a hotel without a pool. Plain and simple, Vegas is hot, so you definitely want pool access. You can go to pools at other major hotels, but what did we just learn about Las Vegas? Lines! There will without a doubt be lines. It's just so much easier to walk downstairs in your own hotel and lounge poolside.
Not planning transportation. Vegas isn't a very walkable city, especially when you're in heels, so you need to have transportation figured out before you leave the hotel for the night. Your hotel probably has cabs ready out front, but it's a lot harder to hail a cab once you leave. Make sure you have Lyft or Uber downloaded as backups.
Not going to a show. Believe it or not, Sin City does have more than just overpriced drinks and clubby hotels. If you want some evening entertainment, you absolutely have to head to Cirque du Soleil. This 1.5 hour performance can be a precursor for less lady-like festivities later in the night, and you'll be so thankful you saw it. Especially if you need a break from boozing.
Not booking the hotel in time. Planning for a Vegas bachelorette means planning waaaay in advance—like as-soon-as-you-get-engaged advance. Well, maybe not that extreme, but you definitely need to book flights, hotels and restaurant reservations at least four months in advance, according to USA Today.
Planning too many activities. Your body can only handle so many vodka sodas, so don't expect your bridal party to be able to rally all day and night. If you planned a busy afternoon of drinking daiquiris poolside, you should probably add more low key events to your itinerary that night. You can get burnt out quickly in Las Vegas, so remember that it's a marathon and not a sprint.
Not weighing in pricing. You're already asking a lot of your bridal squad to buy flights and hotel rooms to celebrate your last fling before the ring, so you also need to keep food and drink pricing in mind. And, brace yourself—Vegas ain't cheap. Research pricing for restaurants and clubs before you commit.
Not buying a package. This seems like a contradiction to the previous slide, but investing in packages might make your experience more memorable (or the opposite) and save you precious time waiting in lines. But, make sure the deals are actually worth it.
Not packing the right clothes. Contrary to popular belief, your Vegas bachelorette wardrobe requires more than just swimsuits and going out dresses. Some more formal restaurants actually have strict dress codes, so look into this beforehand and notify your besties.
