Brie Larson is doing a different kind of California dreaming! The Captain Marvel star, 33, uploaded a stunning, bikini-clad, makeup-free selfie for her 6.9 million Instagram followers this week— showing her soaking up the sun and joking about longing for a traditional autumn in her caption.
The Oscar winner’s clear, radiant skin shined in the sunlight, and she can be seen donning a baby blue, periwinkle low-cut bikini top with skimpy straps. Larson wore her signature wavy, dirty blonde tresses up into a pulled-back ponytail, and accessorized her sunny day look with sparkly mini hoop earrings. With her airpods in and complexion looking sun-kissed, the Fast X actress snapped her photo at a high angle.

In her October 15th caption, Larson wrote, “Does LA even get Fall?” with a sun emoji. While some fellow Californians responded to her question in her comment section (some expressing their “wishes” for a quintessential foliage-filled season and others “being content” with constant LA warmth), others highlighted Larson’s “natural beauty” and “perfect skin.” (We agree— it’s incredible as always!)
One fan wrote to the Scott Pilgrim vs. the World icon, “you are effortlessly beautiful,” as another added, “you’re literally glowing, Brie!” Other pro-summer fans from other parts of the world began chiming in that they “wished” they were in LA while a majority complimented Larson’s beauty with a plethora of heart-eye, red heart and fire emojis.

Earlier this month, Larson showed some appreciation for her home state (she was born in Sacramento and raised throughout Cali) in a photo collection post containing imagery of nature, beaches and other pretty sights she saw in The Golden State. She captioned her October 5th upload, “Some scenic serenity for your feed.” For many fans on the East Coast, as “lovely as fall is,” one fan wrote, they’d “rather be where Brie is in the sunshine.”
