Brie Larson turned heads for all the right reasons when she attended the star-studded 29th Critics Choice Awards, which took place at the Barker Hangar at the Santa Monica Airport in Los Angeles on Sunday, January 14th.

The 34-year-old Oscar-winning actress had perhaps one of her most stylish years in history in 2023 – largely thanks to her series of unforgettable Chanel looks at the Cannes Film Festival, for which she served as one of the jurors. But we think 2024 could very well beat it if the rest of her red carpet looks continue to blow us away!

Brie Larson Wows In Custom Black Velvet Prada Gown At The Critics Choice Awards

The Captain Marvel actress walked the Critics Choice Awards red carpet in a dark and seductive custom Prada gown, which was a stark contrast to the soft, romantic, 50s-inspired dress she wore the week before to the Golden Globe Awards. This 'fit proved that Brie can rock absolutely any kind of look, as she absolutely slayed!

The stunning black velvet gown by the Italian fashion house featured a plunging square neckline and a gorgeous sheer train. Such a neckline deserves a dazzling piece of jewelry, and Brie and stylist Samantha McMillen did not disappoint by choosing to add a practically blinding diamond-encrusted necklace.

Brie wore her hair in an elegant and undistracting updo, which showed off her delicate diamond earrings, while her makeup featured soft peach cheeks and a glossy nude lip. Brie rocks the natural makeup look very well (and also looks phenomenal without a single drop of makeup, as she has proven so many times over the years!) so we aren't surprised to see makeup artists making the most of her flawless skin and letting her natural beauty shine through.

Brie Larson Wore A Stunning Lavender Prada Gown To The Golden Globe Awards

Earlier this month, the Fast X actress rendered fans almost speechless when she floated along the 81st Annual Golden Globe Awards red carpet in a dreamy lavender-colored Prada dress, which featured a plunging sweetheart neckline, and a voluminous vintage-inspired ankle-length skirt. We love her loyalty to Prada at the moment!

The Marvels actress accessorized her dress with grey pointed toe Prada heels and some truly dazzling jewelry, which included an intricate Kwiat Ashoka diamond necklace and Kwiat 3-carat round brilliant cut diamond stud earrings to add that final bit of class and wow factor. She wore her hair in some loose old Hollywood waves, in keeping with the 1950s theme of the dress, and kept her makeup glowing and flawless thanks to some soft eye shadow, rosy pink cheeks, and a soft pink lip.

Brie Larson Was Starstruck By Jennifer Lopez At The Golden Globes

The Lessons in Chemistry star proved that even Oscar-winning actresses can get starstruck, when she noticed that Jennifer Lopez was standing behind her in a curve-hugging pink Nicole + Felicia Couture gown on the Golden Globes red carpet.

During a now viral interview with Entertainment Tonight, Larson confessed that the 54-year-old J-Lo Beauty founder inspired her to become an actress after watching her sensational performance in the 1997 movie, Selena. "Oh my God. I'm gonna cry. I can't deal with J-Lo," Larson said on the red carpet after she had spotted her, before telling her directly: "You mean so much to me."

The ladies hugged, after which the "On the Floor" singer said that she too was "such a huge fan" of the Avengers: Endgame star. Aww! Brie then continued: "I saw Selena and it made me want to be an actor. And you've always meant so much to me." The Marry Me actress responded: "Oh my God, don't make me cry."

Brie finished off by praising the Hustlers star even further, adding: "Your work ethic is so important. Thank you. I've been wanting to say that to you for a long time so I'm really — I didn't think it was going to be right now. Ok. I'm gonna have to go do a shot of tequila or something."
