Brie Larson was nearly unrecognizable with a bold buzz cut as she celebrated the opening night of her play Elektra in London.
The Oscar winner embraced the mob wife aesthetic, stepping out in a striking tiger-print fur jacket, black trousers, and burgundy heels. She completed the look with a deep plum lip and statement rings, adding a touch of drama to her edgy transformation. See the photos here!

The Lessons In Chemistry star joined actress Stockard Channing during press night for the photo op.
According to a description, “Elektra, haunted by her father’s assassination, is consumed by grief, a need for survival, and a thirst for vengeance. When her long-lost brother Orestes at last returns, she urges him to a savage and terrifying conclusion, but at what cost?”
The Room alum said in an interview, “I couldn’t be more excited to perform in this Greek drama, or in better company collaborating with Daniel Fish and Anne Carson. Storytelling has always been the way I organize life, feelings, and experiences. I look forward to sharing space with the wonderful West End audience while we explore this timeless story.”
The play debuted at the Theatre Royal Brighton in January 13 to 18, 2025, before moving to London’s Duke of York’s Theatre for a run from January 24 to April 12.
