Brie Larson Opens Up About Her Early 2000s Music Career While Rocking Curve-Hugging Red Sweater Dress
The Marvels star proved that once again, apart from acting and music, she also has impeccable style! Larson stopped by Kelly Clarkson's namesake show set in New York City on January 3rd while sporting a scarlet, ribbed, button-down frock with mid-length sleeves and an ankle-length hemline.
To top off her look, the Room alum added shiny gold rings and sparkling mini hoop earrings. For her glam, she wore her signature dirty blonde tresses down, parted to the side and styled into elegant, loose, brushed-out waves.
As for her makeup look, Larson opted for subtle smokey eyeshadow, a touch of eyeliner, voluminous mascara, warm rosy blush and a dusty pink pout.
While chatting with host Clarkson, 41, Larson sweetly told her that she voted for her on American Idol in 2002 and talked about her own passion for music and singing.
Regarding her 2005 pop record, Larson said: "It was pop, I played guitar, I wrote the songs." Larson also shared that she does still like writing music and still works on it in present day (fingers crossed for a future album).
"It was really fun, it was just a strange thing that happened," she continued, adding: "I still can't believe that happened." Clarkson then said to Larson: "You should sing with me one time on the show," before Larson enthusiastically replied: "Yes please!"(We'd love to see a duet from them, too!)
The Kelly Clarkson Show Instagram page uploaded a video of Larson's segment and fans reacted to her chic style as well as their memories with her one and only musical album.
"Petition for Brie to release another album," one commented, adding: "Finally Out of P.E. is so good!" Another wrote: "love your outfit, beautiful hair, looking fabulous."
