Brie Larson proved yet again that she’s the eternally best-dressed superhero with her latest stunning black dress! The Marvel Cinematic Universe star, 32, graced the set of Jimmy Kimmel Live this week in a sultry LBD with a low-cut neckline to highlight her figure and thigh-skimming hemline that helped flaunt her toned legs. The Captain Marvel actress discussed the future of her beloved comic book character Carol Danvers in Marvel’s upcoming 2023 film The Marvels, and charmed fans with her upbeat disposition and classy monochromatic ensemble.

Larson’s scoop-neck midi dress is by Carolina Herrera, and features quarter-length sleeves and a curve-hugging fit. The Scott Pilgrim vs. The World alum paired it with platform black pump heels and accessorized with shiny diamond stud earrings and a matching ring from Anita Ko. She wore her long, blonde tresses down for the event and glamorously parted her locks to the side. Larson completed her look with black eyeliner, shaded brown eyeshadow and a pop of color with a classic red lip.

The star discussed her workout journey with host Jimmy Kimmel,  explaining that she first started working out when she was cast as the Marvel superhero “out of pure fear of failure.” She said, “I thought I was supposed to do my own stunts. They casted me, and I was like, ‘Uh, they low-key don’t understand that I’m an introvert with asthma. They made a mistake. I gotta figure this out real quick.'”

After Larson began working with her personal trainer, Jason Walsh, she said that she learned, “I was actually much stronger than I realized.” Larson realized that her allergies were ultimately the cause of her asthma, so she then started taking allergy medicine and began lifting heavy weights. “It really transformed my life, and Captain Marvel changed me as a person,” she sweetly revealed.

The next film to feature her character, The Marvels, will hit theaters on July 28, 2023, and Larson is also set to star in Fast X in May of next year. More recently, her fans can catch her in the Disney+ docuseries, Growing Up, which dropped on August 3, 2022.
