The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon recently brought on a Hollywood icon! It was none other than Brie Larson, and she did it with some serious Marilyn Monroe vibes! Brie strutted onto the set of the show in a jaw-dropping sleeveless satin white dress, rocking a cowl halterneck that screamed modern chic and oozed class. It also featured a billowy skirt in all its elegant glory, making us wonder if Marilyn herself might have given it a nod of approval.

And, of course, the Just Mercy alum wasn’t stopping there–she threw on some pointed-toe silver heels, adding a sprinkle of glam, and completed her attire with a white leather belt featuring silver detailing.

Brie Larson Shuts It Down On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

Brie decided to go for a less-is-more vibe with her hair and makeup, and it worked like magic! With the high cowl neck stealing the spotlight, she rocked a chic semi-high bun that was basically the epitome of style. Her gorgeous golden locks were slicked back, culminating in a neatly knotted bun at the back. Keeping things au naturel, her makeup game was on point with just the right touch of blush, bronzer, and a hint of a brown lip.

During the show, she was thrilled to finally be able to talk about her latest acting projects since the SAG-AFTRA strike has officially ended.

In the episode, Larson delved into the details of Lessons in Chemistry, a series adapted from Bonnie Garmus’ novel, and it made its debut on Apple TV+ on October 13. Additionally, she excitedly mentioned reprising her role as Captain Marvel in The Marvels, currently lighting up the big screens in theaters.

Brie Larson Talks About Being A 'Superhero'

In one part of her segment, the blonde beauty amusingly shared the not-so-glamorous truth of portraying a flying superhero, a.k.a. Captain Marvel.

"Anybody out there who's, like, thinking of becoming a superhero—or you're a superhero and then suddenly you can fly—just know it means an eternal wedgie for everything you ever do after that," The Marvels star declared on The Tonight Show. "You just don't think about it. You're like, 'Cool! I can fly! Wow!' And then you do it one time like, 'Peter Pan! Cool!' And then you're like, 'Oh no, actually, this is so uncomfortable.'"

"It's a lot of core strength, folks! It's a lot. And you're just kind of airlifted up and around and you're just holding that [pose]...Just being like, 'We've really got to do this.' Ugh!"

The actress wittily added: "It's acting, is what I'm saying."
