The Captain Marvel star, 33, went with a Chanel piece once again (if it ain't broke and all that) for the dinner, choosing an effortlessly sleek and sexy black Chanel dress with a plunging front and a relaxed silhouette. The dress actually hails from the French fashion house's Fall 2006 collection, proving once again that vintage pieces are having a real moment not only during the Cannes Film Festival, but in general.

The Oscar-winner, who is no stranger to wowing the crowd in a black dress, accessorized with a classic black Chanel bag, and kept jewelry to a minimum. She chose to go without earrings or bracelets, and simply sported a long gold chain necklace. She also sported flawless and glowing natural makeup, and wore her hair in a low pony, which she elevated with the chicest of black bows.
