We’ve all been following the shocking news surrounding Britney Spears and her ongoing battle to put an end to her conservatorship, and now it seems the star’s situation has taken a turn for the worse. It turns out that Britney even called 911 to report abuse recently.

According to a new report written by investigative journalists Ronan Farrow and Jia Tolentino, Britney called emergency services to try to get help the night before her first public testimony.

Britney’s mom, Lynne Spears, revealed this information to the reporters. Speaking of her thoughts on the conservatorship, she added, “I got mixed feelings about everything. I don’t know what to think … It’s a lot of pain, a lot of worry.”

Lynne is no longer married to Britney’s father, Jamie Spears, who is currently a co-conservator of Britney. The conservatorship has been in place since 2008.

As conservator, Jamie is currently in control of all of Britney’s assets, finances and career. Britney has said that she believes the conservatorship is “abusive” and wishes for it to end.

In a recent testimony, Britney revealed, “I was told right now in the conservatorship, I’m not able to get married or have a baby. I have an IUD inside of myself right now so I don’t get pregnant. I wanted to take the IUD out so I could start trying to have another baby.

"But this so-called team won’t let me go to the doctor to take it out because they don’t want me to have children — any more children. So basically, this conservatorship is doing me way more harm than good.”

Despite this testimony, Britney has not yet been able to get her father removed as her conservator. A judge recently ruled that the 39-year-old has not provided the right documentation to end the conservatorship.

“The conservator’s request to suspend James P. Spears immediately upon the appointment of Bessemer Trust Company of California as sole conservator of estate is denied without prejudice," the court documents state.
